June Trip to Utah

We decided to make a trip to Utah the second week of June.. we haven't been up there in a while so we deiced to go up early Tue the 12th. On our way into town we stopped in Santiquin and saw our good friends the Robbin's new house and visited with them for a little bit.. that night we went to dinner with them.. It was nice to see them again and spend some time with them.

We also went and Visited Granpa Joe and Great grandma and grandpa Lloyd

The next day the boys wanted to play in the sprinklers outside.. They had a lot of fun

Later that day we went to Ventran's pool, with Jordan and Uncle Eric.. its the same pool I went to many times growing up! The boys loved the same slide that I did as a kid and Blake got really good at swimming in the shallow end of the pool! It was a lot of fun playing with my kids at the pool I enjoyed as a kid! Sad I didn't take my camera there either.

Thursday we spend the morning shopping with my mom and little sister Jordan and then we headed north to see some friends and check out some stores and really we were on hunt for a dress for my sisters up coming baptism :)

We then headed to the Mike and Brit Harris house to stay for a few nights. Noah and Olivia were coming in that night as well. Mike and Noah are Riley's good friends from high school so it was pretty fun to get together and see their families and reconnect with them and their wives!  When we got there the weather was so beautiful we couldn't spend it inside so we enjoyed each others company outside and let the kids play in the street by their house!

Then Mike and Blake busted out the John Deer to give some rides

We put the kids to bed and stayed up and talked and laughed way TOO late but we wanted to enjoy each other as much as possible so we woke up early the next day and went to the Zoo.

Next it was the polar bears... This is also new and pretty amazing to see them so close and so active!

While watching the polar bear Blake walked around with his hands in his pockets like he owned the place!

We went back to Mike's house and had a yummy BBQ, Brad (Riley's college roommate) and Bekah and their two boys also came and hung out. The kids hung out in their beauiful back yard most of the time, they had a slip in slide, tramaline, swings and just room to run around. The adults just enjoyed watching the kids play together!

That night after putting the kids to bed we talked and laughed around a fire in the back yard. It was such a fun couple of days with great friends and their kids. We talked about taking a group shot but we never did, I really wish we had!! We are very lucky to have such great friends who we don't get to see nearly enough but when we do its always fun and we can't wait to do it again soon!! We had to get up early the next morning to make it to my little sister's baptism. 

The next morning Lucy and Blake snuggled with the kindle
