The Beach!

Our last day in Cali we decided to go to Huntington Beach.. The weather was really nice, mostly cloudy but not too hot and not too cold. The water in MY opinion was FREEZING and I wasn't getting in :)

Riley trying to convince Blake to get wet... He had fun running from the waves.

Riley and Rob got the boys to go in the water.. It was fun for Blake for about the 10 min he was in the water but when he got out it was NOT fun for him or ME!! He cried he was cold and sat wrapped in a blanket and towels for about 45 min trying to warm up!

FINALLY He did and had a blast the rest of the day... with no more trips in the water!!

These two had so much fun playing in the sand together.. Kayla and I just sat back and watched

We took a lunch brake and went to Ruby's (I think thats whats it called) It's a 50's Hamburger place at the end of the pier.

While we walked to lunch there we saw these guys fishing and they caught and pulled in the shark... not too far from where we were on the beach... a little scary but it was fun to watch them get him up on the pier!




Then it was back to the beach... for more fun had by these two cute boys... and much needed relaxing time for the adults!

I had to add this... We showered and changed the boys into warm clothes before the car ride back to the hotel!

The weather was nice but it was cloudy so we didn't think to put sun screen on us... this is Riley and me when we got home the next day!

I might have missed a few spots on Riley :) OUCH!!
