Aug Trip to Oregon!

This is long with a lot of pic!! Thanks Rachel for posting before me so I could steal your idea :)

1 Car

5 Kids

3 adults

1 7 year old

1 5 year old

2 2 year olds

1 7 month old

1 30 year old who acted like a 4 year old

2 "crazy" moms

(at least by the end of the whole trip)

3 states

18 hours of travel time

2 weeks cousin time

20 + different DVD's played

1 potty incident

4 puking incidents

2 blow outs by baby Chase

100's of snacks

100's of great conversations

(when we weren't interrupted)

100's of wrappers in the car

100's of Mom.. Mom.. mom.. from the back seats

Too many fights to count

Too many stops to count

Too many "What were we thinking moments to count

and....

Lots of tears from both kids and adults

and that was just the car ride!!

BUT it was all totally worth it!

We stopped in Coarsegold CA at my Aunt Jenny's house over night both ways to brake up the drive, and two weeks to relax and recover before driving home.

Waiting for us once we got to Oregon and Sonya's house we had Crystal, Baylee, Brody, Sonya, Kris, Kali, Sarah, Kole, Stella & Kash waiting for us!!

We enjoyed watching the deer eat right out side the back door

The kids got some good snuggle time with aunt Jenny and uncle Pat

(Chase met them for the 1st time, he was in mommy's belly last time we were there)

We had a few camp fires... in the back yard!!

Enjoying the nights.... Kole was the master smore maker!!

The boys were inseparable (although sometimes needing separating) played for hours and hours outside day or night!

Doing something new!! :) they also got to help uncle Kris mow the lawn with the riding lawn mower!

I can't remember the name of it but we went to this look out spot on the coast... It was so BEAUTIFUL!!

Blake fell asleep in the car on the way there so he was really tired when we woke him up... it took him a while to finally warm up to taking pictures!

We played at this cool little pond.. it had beautiful flowers. Lilies are my fav!

It rained when we got there and set everything up... we left pretty soon after

We played a few days at the beach.. it was pretty cold but some of the kids didn't mind getting wet!

It was such a fun trip to Oregon and to be able to spend so much time with family that we don't get to see very often! I personally enjoyed the time spent just relaxing and being with such wonderful family. The kids played hard and enjoyed being able to run FREE outside! I don't know how we did everything with all the kids who out numbed the adults by many but we did and had lots of fun doing with everything that we did!

What a fun trip and memories we made!! Can't wait for the next time we visit...
